This time remixing their favourite already released track of Kygos highly anticipated new Album “Cloud Nine”. The natively melodic house driven duo from Cologne, Germany indeed got a little trendy on this one. However not intentionally aiming to try something new, their bump into future bass just happened and “it feels good not always being bond to a specific genre”.
A collaboration with the South African, Beirut based vocalist Mia V. was in line since their ways crossed during an Interview on the lebanese Radio but it took almost two years to finally come to live. Saxity proves again that they’re all about bridging the gap between live musicianship and electronic music to bring rawer musicality back on the dancefloor.

NAWAS, dangerously self-assured and shockingly frank, is here to rile you up. Marrying smooth, androgynous R&B vocals with rich instrumentals and tightly woven concept-based lyrics, NAWAS combines timeless sound with the hustle of newcomers. One listen and you instantly see their collective past, present, and future. It’s big, loud, and exactly what you’ve been waiting for.
Originally from Louisiana, NAWAS is now based in Nashville, Tennessee where members frequently collaborate with producer Sainte and songwriter Luke Foley. Influenced by the likes of Kayne West, Prince, D’Angelo, and Justin Timberlake and with a foundation that celebrates both classic songwriting and innovative production, NAWAS’ debut project is as smooth in the low end as it is tough when the beat kicks in. It’s music most likely to blow out your speakers. It’s the soundtrack to that wild night you spent the entire next day coming to grips with. It’s uniquely NAWAS… here to remind you you’re alive and that sometimes, a little dirt under your fingernails is a badge of honor.
“So Low is a song about discovering life on a higher plan of existence and how the pathway to enlightenment may affect one’s relationship with God. It’s about seeing not only all the good, but also all the evil that has been created and asking God for an explanation.” – Jake Nawas
Brand new music video released by the nineteen year old Mira Aasma. Video made by Linn Carlson. Check it out!
It’s hard to believe that at the age of just nineteen, Gothenburg born vocalist Mira Aasma’s music is filled with such maturity and grace. The compelling sound of her voice has made her comparable to other celebrated artists including Florence and the Machine. Mira’s previous single Ghost started getting her music noticed in her home country, Sweden. Additionally, in the UK she began receiving more attention-with multiple plays on Amazing Radio. Mira continues to demonstrate her talent as she not only written but also arranged and produced all of the songs on her upcoming EP, Stereoscope.
During Whale Song, the electronic beats combined with the soothing vocals produce a unique track that can be compared to music by notable artists including Daughter and London Grammar. The pace quickens towards the end of the song whilst the drumbeat accelerates, very MS MR-esque, which leaves the listener captivated and engaged throughout.
Mira Aasma is an artist worth watching out for, as 2016 already looks promising for her. Whale Song is released now, since the 8th April 2016, on Birds Records.
Adam Foster has only been around the music game since last March, but since then he’s quickly amassed a huge following with his emotiondriven house music. Best of all, the growing producer can already count Alisters Lost Frequencies, Don Diablo, and Tiesto as just a few in the evergrowing list of DJs who have played or featured his tracks.
Most recently, Adam seized his growing momentum by becoming a featured artist at EDXlabel events during Miami Music Week just in time for the release of his major new single. Bringing his debut from EDX’s Sirup Music, Foster’s “Daylight” is an upbeat house track featuring the talents of singer Monty Wells. With a fast moving, intricately crafted sound created by crisp piano chords, a traditional house beat, and even some marimba sounds, “Daylight” is geared towards anyone who has an affinity for dance music and is an anthem perfect for the coming summer months.
Start your summer off with Adam Foster’s Daylight!
Australian singer/songwriter Hayden Calnin is a self-produced musician who is passionate about his music; since receiving a guitar at age fourteen, Hayden hasn’t gone a single day without playing it. His determination to push himself sonically as well as artistically has helped him gain international acclaim, including sync placements on numerous USA TV shows such as Suits, Parenthood,Teen Wolf and the UK and Japanese trailers for recently Oscar-nominated, Room.
Hayden’s new single Ultra-Beast is a folktronic euphonious track with the overall tone resembling work from celebrated artists including Dawn Golden and Bon Iver. The song begins softly with a synthesized clap that continues throughout the piece-highlighting Hayden’s diversity in the arrangement of his music. The piece edges towards the more electronic side, resembling sounds from The XX. Moreover, the production of Ultra-Beast is comparable to that of Dawn Golden and M83. Hayden incorporates the ethereal sound and a rich use of reverb, which combined with his impassioned vocals, creates a beautifully delicate piece of music. The vocal delivery from Hayden has been compared to the sound of Foals singer Yannis Philippakisin their track Give It All.
Hayden was recently described by Stereogum as a folktronic artist that specializes in lush, spacious, genre-bending excursions. More could be said of this new single; however there is a notable switch in songwriting here from the trademark, leftfield arrangements of Hayden Calnin, to a single which should reach a different audience with a wider reach.
To explain, this is partly down to co-producing the new record with Tim Carr (Matt Corby) and this new single is an apparent step towards what is to come over the coming months with Cut Love Pt 2 due for release 13th May.
Ultra-Beast exhibits Hayden’s classic spectrum of sound, whilst demonstrating the ability to assembling songs with a commercial arrangement and is taken from his upcoming record Cut Love Pt.2.
We are definitely looking forward to May 13th.
We have just created our own Spotify Account. To celebrate we have thrown together a Chill playlist which we hope to continuously update with new music.
